The IMPACT boys have won the Praise and Worship Challenge with a perfect score of 15! This Wednesday at IMPACT, the boys will be rewarded with SONIC SUNDAES! WHEW WHOO!!!!
The TeamKIDs and IMPACT ladies will also be rewarded with ice cream treats for there excellent participation in this challenge!!!!
MISSION MONEY GOAL: Our TeamKID and IMPACT goal for the year was to raise at least $500 toward SPANISH BIBLES for the Mission to pass out! We are now at $450.75.....WE CAN DO THIS!!!!! Keep it up!!!

EaSteR FaMiLy CeLEbraTIoN
This Sunday, GBF will be hosting an informal Easter family celebration. Immediately following Community Groups, we invite ALL families and individuals to stay for a time of fun and fellowship! Hotdogs, bouncehouses, and an egg hunt will be held on the playground on the northside of the property! The old elementary gym is reserved as a backup, in case of bad weather circumstances!
WHAT TO BRING: Lawn chairs or a blanket to lounge on and an Easter basket or sack for any children who want to participate in the egg hunt
DONATIONS: Please send candy/surprised filled egg donations to the church office (Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm) or drop them off at the children's hall at GBF!
It's gonna be an EGGSalent time:-)

Do You Want to Help Send a Child to Camp KIDJAM???
The GBF children will be attending Camp KIDJAM this summer for the fourth time! We need your help to send a few extra kids that would not have the opportunity to attend! This Sunday we will be taking up a special love offering to raise scholarships for the camp. The camp cost is $255. Our goal would be to send 4 additional students. SPIRIT NIGHT at TeamKID and IMPACT
SPIRIT NIGHT at TeamKID and IMPACT 56 this Wednesday! Let your spirit show by having some fun in that hair of yours!!!! TeamKID and IMPACT will also be having CRAZY HAIR NIGHT! Wigs, spray paint hair, and wild hairstyles are encouraged:-)
TeamKID will be studying about how Christians can be "joyful always because God loves them and sent Jesus to be their Savior". Our large group study time will help children learn the difference between happiness and joy. Through Paul's life, kids will see that they can choose to be joyful in all circumstances! ---Philippians 4:4-13
****TeamKID and IMPACT will be fed Nachos and a dessert during our meeting time, as well!
The volunteers below have signed up to bring a crockpot of Nacho Cheese!!! Thanks Ladies:-)

Pajama/ Movie Party at TeamKID and IMPACT 56
TeamKID and IMPACT 56 students are being rewarded this Wednesday night for raising over $250 to go towards the Mission-Gunter! Our goal is to raise at least $500 before our last meeting in May!
This Wednesday night (Feb. 3, 2010) the students are welcomed to wear appropriate pajamas, slippers and bring a pillow or stuffed animal to TeamKID/IMPACT! The PreK-4th grade will open with a Bible Game and have a brief small group time before viewing TOY STORY.
The IMPACT students will do the same but will view The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe!
Keep up the good work and don't forget to bring your "Mission Money"

Camp KIDJAM 2010: Deposits Due!
Camp KIDJAM 2010 is opened for registration. I highly recommend that you get your deposits in as soon as possible, as there is only ONE camp in North Texas this year and the slots fill up FAST! The total cost for camp is $255 with a $50 deposit. Please see Mandy Turner and sign up at the Children's Table in the Children's Hall!
This year's Camp KIDJAM will be held at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, running from July 22nd-25th. All students entering 3rd-6th grade are eligible to participate!

We're going to take a look at Paul's journeys and watch the story of his radical faith unfold. From the moment his faith was sparked by the light on the Road to Damascus, all the way to the crucial works of Paul and Timothy speaking to the next generation of the church, we trace Paul's story of faith—a never-ending adventure.
Kids are faced with critical questions about faith and they're offered an amazing variety of answers. Camp KidJam gives kids an opportunity to find answers to some of those vital questions through practical applications like:
* How to navigate the Bible
* How to personalize Scripture
* How to worship God with their life
Join us this summer as we JUMP and learn to put faith in motion!
